Improve Texture and Tone

Facial Rejuvenation Center offers a variety of professional-strength SkinMedica® chemical peels to improve and enhance the appearance of your skin.

One of the least invasive ways to improve your facial appearance, a chemical peel smoothes the texture of your skin by removing the damaged outer layers.

Although chemical peels (also called chemexfoliation or dermal peeling) are used mostly on the face, they can also be used to improve the skin on other areas of the body as well.

A chemical peel can:

  • Reduce the depth of surface lines
  • Smooth rough skin texture
  • Treat skin discoloration and redness
  • Address pigment issues resulting from melasma
  • Assist in clearing acne/blemished and post-inflammatory skin
  • Minimize photo damage
  • Reduce sallowness
  • Improve overall skin health

How it works:

Naturally-occurring Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs), Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHAs), and Retinol in the chemical peel product loosen dead cells from the skin’s surface, revealing new, healthy cells.

The result? Smooth, radiant, glowing skin.

What to expect:

The days following your chemical peel vary by patient. You may experience anything from minimal microscopic flaking to multiple days of moderate peeling.

SkinMedica Vitalize Chemical Peel

The Vitalize Peel is the most popular SkinMedica® peel that is appropriate for all skin types. This medium strength peel can effectively minimize fine wrinkles and sun damage. It contains a proprietary blend of ingredients to help rejuvenate the skin. Achieve visible improvement after one treatment.

SkinMedica Rejuvenize Chemical Peel

The Rejuvenize Peel is recommended after tolerability to the Vitalize Peel has been established. Patients undergoing this deeper strength peel can expect more dramatic results including tightening of the skin and greater reduction of deeper wrinkles. Consultation required prior to scheduling.
